Music plays an active and integral part in the life of the Hurley Reformed Church. It operates under an ambitious mission statement. The majority of the music is provided by an active, dedicated choir and a newly installed organ. The choir is under the direction of Mr. Lonnie Kulick who also serves as the organist.

 

Mr. Kulick leads the senior choir in all worship services during the church year. He then develops a special music program for the summer months which includes his special organ music, guest vocalists and instrumentalists. The music program also includes special events such as Christmas and Easter cantatas and a fall Choir Festival. Special concerts and events are also being planned as is a special Hymn Sing.

 

The senior choir is complemented by a strong and ambitious junior choir. The junior choir sings on special occasions and is a beginning point for a transition to membership in the senior choir.
