Bible Study

The purpose of Bible Study is to learn more about the old and new testaments as they relate to the development of the Christian church and the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.  The Bible Study format revolves around a discussion of a book or concept in the Bible moderated Reverend Bob Vanderlaan.  Emphasis is placed on interpreting text and relating it to the time it was written and how it relates to today's world.  Stimulating and enthusiastic discussions are a regular part of the program.

The groups also study other relevant  books such as The Sweet Life, A Taste of God in the Ordinary by Louis Lotz and the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.

Bible Study serves mainly adults and meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.  Participants take turns providing refreshments while coffee and tea are provided by the church.  The groups ranges from 12 to 18 participants and new members are always welcome.
